Yesterday I asked what you’re going to do to move you closer to that perfect business.
Unsurprisingly, I didn’t get nearly as many answers as I did to the “how would you know your business is perfect” question.
I suspect this is because deep down, everyone knows that they’ll have to change the way they run and market their business… and humans don’t like change. When I first started my business, I did what everyone else did, in the same way… and got more-or-less the same results. It was a bit of a shock to realise that I’d have to drag myself out of my comfort zone and do some stuff that was downright uncomfortable.
Because if you want better results, you gotta do things differently… which means no more Hope Marketing, no more wasting time on stuff that you know isn’t working for you (because you’re not getting those results), and no more feeling that because you work hard you deserve that success.
The Universe doesn’t give a shit about you or me. Harsh? Maybe. But true.
Nothing ever happens until you make it happen.
So will you do something for me? Take an uncomfortable action today. Change something in your marketing. Do something bold. Write an ad aimed specifically at your ideal customer, designed to repel everyone else, and send them to a landing page that offers them something irresistible.
Then get them on your email list and email them relentlessly, every day, with interesting, entertaining, valuable content that keeps them coming back for more, and sells them gently on whatever it is you’re offering.
You will be amazed at the difference it makes.
