It’s not about taking MASSIVE action. It’s just about taking action

Are you doing anything with these blog posts I write for you?

Blue sky, sand. Ostrich with head in sand.

Don’t just stick your head in the sand, take action.

What I mean is: are you taking action on them? Because just reading stuff doesn’t really change anything (except for giving you a warm little glow of pseudo-action). I’d like to think you’re putting into practice the stuff you’re learning from me, and getting results.

Like Chris.

Chris wrote to me yesterday in reply to an email I sent out a couple of weeks ago about being overwhelmed and getting more done. Here’s what he said:

I have just had a Eureka moment thanks to this email….

I have been struggling with Focus and overwhelm for as long as I can remember.  This is what I need to do.

Not only do you provide awesome marketing ideas you are a great self-help inspiration!

Thank you.

And this is my free stuff! Imagine what people who read my book get from me. Well, you don’t have to imagine – you could join us if you like. This focus thing is one of the keys to getting more stuff done.

Anyway, back to my original question: out of all the many blog posts of mine you’ve read, what have you taken action on? What results have you seen? What hasn’t  worked? What have you tried instead that did work?

Hit the comments section and let me know.

And remember: it’s not necessarily about taking massive action. It’s really all about taking small, consistent, effective action. Pick one thing and do it well, consistently. For me, that’s email marketing.

What is it for you?

Vicky Fraser is a copywriter, author, and entrepreneur. She really did run away with the circus… but when she’s not swinging from a trapeze, she’s showing other copywriters and small business owners how to work with better clients, make more money, and stop missing bathtimes, first words, and dinners with angry partners. In fact, she wrote the book on it. Get your copy here.

PS Went for a run in the rain yesterday, first time in a little while. I whacked out 5 miles, which was cool… apart from being pecked by an angry goose and then falling over a randy duck. Be careful out there, kids. It can be fowl.
