“It’s like shooting fish in a barrel”

Following on from my question about what people are implementing after reading my blog posts, my book, and whatnot. I had a bunch of replies, which I promise I will reply to individually when I’m not so chaotically between homes – including this brilliant email from Bernard:

Know how to target your ideal client and it’ll be much easier to get them into your business.

“You once gave me some very good advice about chosing my avatar as my marketing was all over the place and very unproductive. I work as a forensic science and pharmaceutical consultant. When I constructed my avatar Rumpole and started to use him I got so good at targeting clients that it is now like shooting fish in a barrel. Whereas I was formerly getting one or two enquiries a month I now get one definite commission a week. I have Vicky to thank for putting me right. I still have some strategies to implement but now I have the confidence to try them out. Thanks Vicky.
