Morpheus was a wise man. He knew what was what.
In his search for The One in The Matrix, he met many pretenders. Many people who thought they could be The One.
But, as he himself said, there is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path.
It’s not enough to know what to do or how to do it. Intentions are worthless without actions. But the sad thing is, most business owners only know the path. They never walk it. Because walking it is the hard part.
Nobody’s perfect, by the way. I’ve been preparing to do some marketing for about a month now, but I still haven’t done it. I know my path perfectly well. I can see it. I’ve got everything I need to get going. But…
I still haven’t stepped onto the path.
So I’ve cleared an entire day to JFDI tomorrow.
If you’re not sure what your path is, what it looks like, or where it starts, I can help you with that. My book, Business For Superheroes, is a coastal walk of a path. There are sea pinks, heathers, and bird’s foot trefoil, rocky rises and gentle hollows, all filled with the past couple of years of my experience and what I’ve done to make my business work for me.

Vicky Fraser is a copywriter, author, and entrepreneur. She really did run away with the circus… but when she’s not swinging from a trapeze, she’s showing other copywriters and small business owners how to work with better clients, make more money, and stop missing bathtimes, first words, and dinners with angry partners. In fact, she wrote the book on it. Get your copy here.
PS Remember: there is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path. If you already know your path, take that first step. Even if you don’t know exactly where it’ll lead. Take that step anyway, because anything else is standing still.
Not sure what your first step should be? Make it this one.
