Blatant pitch: stop wasting time pontificating

It’s the first day of the weekend. Hurrah!

But are you already dreading Monday? — remember how it used to feel back in school?

Dollar bills planted in freshly turned earth.

You need to invest in yourself and your business.

I don’t. I used to, when I had The Worst Job In The WorldTM. Then, a few months after I started my business, I started getting that feeling of dread again, because I wasn’t earning enough and my clients weren’t the type of clients I wanted.

So, let me ask you: are you ready to take action to change things?

Because I can promise you one thing with absolute certainty: if you do nothing you’ll change nothing.

You need a plan. You need to invest in yourself — and if that’s not a priority, you’re stuffed.

I’d like you to buy a copy of my book, Business For Superheroes and then take action. But whatever you do, do something.

Or, you could carry on doing what you’re doing, looking for free advice online, and convince yourself that you’re improving… while actually you achieve nothing.

Or, worse still, sit and panic because you don’t have a plan and nobody is giving you any work or buying your stuff.

Alternatively, you could buy my book.

TTFN,

Vicky

Vicky Fraser is a copywriter, author, and entrepreneur. She really did run away with the circus… but when she’s not swinging from a trapeze, she’s showing other copywriters and small business owners how to work with better clients, make more money, and stop missing bathtimes, first words, and dinners with angry partners. In fact, she wrote the book on it. Get your copy here.

PS Here’s what I’ve learned about the tempting and seductive free stuff you can get from all over the internet: it’s a waste of time and money. Yep, money. Because there’s no such thing as free… while you’re spending time looking for free stuff, that’s time you’re not spending on something profitable. Why is it a waste? Because you don’t value it. If you don’t have skin in the game, you’re far less likely to take action and use what you’ve got.

I’ve got acres of disk space filled with free stuff I’ll never look at because I downloaded it on a whim. On the other hand, joining two mentoring groups that I’ve spent tens of thousands of pounds on over the last couple of years has helped me transform my business. My turnover went from struggling to pull in £2k a month to well over five figures a month. Much of which I’m ploughing back into building my business further. And all I’m charging is a measly £19.97.

Just sayin’.
