Do you know what happens when you get all hung up on pretty email templates filled with pictures to send to your prospective customers?
This. This happens.
And your reader’s reaction?
“LOL WTF?” *delete*
If you’re lucky, they won’t mark it as spam.
How do you expect to sell anything when there’s nothing for your reader to even see, let alone read?
If your message isn’t read, nobody will act on it. Simples.
Want your messages to get read? You need to hone your writing and persuasion skills.
Get into the habit of writing every day and you’ll find it much easier to get your message understood, and acted upon.
Writing compelling copy comes naturally to me now, but that’s because I’ve been doing it for a very long time. I’m very good at it, but that wasn’t always the case.
Do you know why?
Yep – practise. Endless, daily practise. To hone the writing habit.
And habits is everything in life and business. Want to make sure you have good ones?

Vicky Fraser is a copywriter, author, and entrepreneur. She really did run away with the circus… but when she’s not swinging from a trapeze, she’s showing other copywriters and small business owners how to work with better clients, make more money, and stop missing bathtimes, first words, and dinners with angry partners. In fact, she wrote the book on it. Get your copy here.
PS It’s not about “does it look pretty?” it’s about “is it interesting to read?” Well, are your emails and adverts interesting to read? To learn how to be more interesting, go here: http://www.businessforsuperheroes.com/inner-circle/
