I first realised I had a little problem when I floated out of my body and watched myself screeching at my computer mouse.
Because that’s not normal behaviour.
You know how sometimes you can be going off on one, and one part of you seems to be watching from somewhere else and rolling its eyes at how ridiculous you’re being?
That’s what I mean about floating out of your body.
But back to the technology abuse.
Have you ever seen the Fawlty Towers episode where Basil Fawlty attacks his car with a tree branch?
It wasn’t entirely dissimilar.
It appeared I was a tad… short-tempered.
Every little thing set me on edge.
Every interruption inspired rage.
Every time I got distracted, I beat myself up.
That kind of shit? It’s rampant among business owners and entrepreneurs who are…
And it’s somehow become normal.
Stress is not and should not become “normal”.
Stress is serious shit. It kills people. It ruins relationships.
And I got sick and tired of hearing people say stuff like, “Oh it’s nothing, I’m just a bit stressed.”
There’s no such thing as “just a bit stressed”.
So Joe and I poured some champagne and did a podcast.
Go ahead: squeeze my stress balls.
