“This group will change everything for you.”
So said Sally, one of my Superheroes. Totally unprompted. In an email to my newest Member in our Chat Group.
I’d just add one caveat to that statement: the Superheroes will change everything for you if you do the work.
See, there’s no magic bullet, no matter how much we’d like there to be.
So stop rubbing that lamp and hoping for a genie.
(Genie’s are tricksy things anyway — did you never see that episode of The X-Files where Mulder wished for peace on Earth and everything but him disappeared?)
I’ll tell you a little tale about my own “change everything”. It happened when I joined the mastermind group I’m part of.
See, I did everything I was supposed to (well, most of it). I do loads.
I set myself deadlines and (mostly) stuck to them.
I got shit done, I got it critiqued by my mentor, and I improved constantly.
But here’s the unexpected benefit of a group like that… the people.
Not the companionship, or friendships you make, or the accountability — although they’re all good things, of course.
I’m talking about the network.
Mixing with people who are at least as successful as you (and hopefully more so) — because those people pull you up with them.
And hire you.
Yep: you get a better class of client. Those who understand your value and the value of your product.
And they introduce you to more people just like them.
Referrals. More clients. Better clients. More money.
None of it happens overnight.
But if you put the work in?
It will happen.
I’m walking proof.
So, listen to what Sally said up there, and come join the Superheroes Crew.
Not quite ready to jump in at the deep end? Why not start by signing up to my 49 Ideas instead.
You’ll still need to put in the work but it will make a huge difference to your business.
