Joe gets a bit tense when he’s hungry.
He gets a bit angry.
It’s a Fraser man thing, apparently. They come up with all kinds of conspiracy theories about how everyone’s plotting to keep them away from food.
It’s kind of funny to suggest “just doing this one thing then we’ll have lunch” and watch him explode.

I get hangry too, but not to the same extent…
Anyway, it got us thinking about scarcity mindset and how, when you’re poor in something (food, time, money, love) it’s all you can think about. It’s a fascinating subject because that mindset is a treacherous thing.
It causes you to behave in a way that keeps you poor, hungry, busy, or lonely. It’s like a counterproductive vicious circle of misery and pain.
And you don’t realise you’re in it, because you have tunnel vision.
So we did a podcast about it. And that’s this week’s topic: Losing Limbs in the Scarcity Trap.
