There is a severed foot on my raised vegetable bed.
I swear to gods it’s giving me the finger.
It’s all that’s left of yesterday’s bloody, gory pigeon massacre. The guts have gone, the wing has gone, and most of the feathers have gone.
The foot remains. Because nobody really wants to eat a pigeon foot.
So I decided to stick it in the molehill next to my veg beds… and in doing so, take a closer look at it.
The foot, I mean.
It was obviously gross, but once you push past that, it’s really interesting. Lots of tendons and stringy bits, and scaly dinosaur skin.
I got a good glimpse of the inner workings of a pigeon foot.
Which is what I do with marketing gubbins and business tools. I dig around inside them to see what works, what doesn’t work, and what’s just frankly ludicrous.
That’s why I created my 49 Ideas – to share them with you.
I’ll give you the lowdown on what’s working for me and my clients. And the skinny on what’s not working (and why, If I can figure it out).
Don’t waste time on surface stuff that is unlikely to work for you.
Dig into the basics and build strong foundations…
Set achievable but ambitious goals…
And put a simple, doable plan together.
Get started here,. I promise there are no severed feet.
